  • ●  Using assessments, getting to know them and what they want or need
  • ●  What issues, problems, discomfort, and dissatisfaction do they have?
  • ●  What do they want to focus on? Where do they want to go?
  • ●  Meeting them where they are, their goals, at their pace
  • ●  Holding a container wide enough for them to be themselves and get real
  • ●  Normalizing the challenge, not pathologizing the experience
  • ●  Helping clients come into their process, offering accountability
  • ●  Guiding them through their transformational process
  • ●  Clients who are not dealing with chronic or life-threatening addictions
